CQRA was conceptualised in the late 90’s by its founder Ujwal Kunte, a dedicated Concrete technologist and management expert. The company was formally established as an independent inspection and certification company in the field of Construction in 2004 and has not looked back since. Recently the company has also obtained ISO/IEC 17020:2012 certification from NABCB and also offered major equity participation to ACTS Lebanon- a world renowned Construction technology company.

The joint ACTS - CQRA entity is characterised by the following:
- Independent inspections for any kind of construction project covering RCC, Shell, Finishes, MEP with one time or periodic inspections as applicable. Projects can also be rated on a 10-point scale using proprietary Bench Mark software.
- Pan India operations covering Real Estate, Infra or any other type of project with dedicated site teams to manage Quality or Safety using advanced technology to capture real time onsite data digitally

Incorporated in 2004, CQRA was a pioneer in developing objective Quality Indexing Mechanism, which indexes quality on a 10-point scale for all trades covering RCC, Shell and Finishes, and services like Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC.

Home Inspect services introduced
Home Inspect services introduced for the first time in the country. Activities expanded majorly to Gujarat and also Kolkata. Major breakthrough in Infra sector with Hyderabad Metro for inspecting L&T's work as a sole checking agency for the Metro Rail project.

Another breakthrough with MEGA metro project in Gandhinagar.
Upgradation to Mega Projects
Assignment with L&T Metro takes on very large proportions with 50 to 60 people at site.
