Grading System

CQRA stands for ‘Construction Quality Rating Agency’. As the name suggests, we are the pioneers in devising Quality Rating Mechanism where construction quality is indexed on a scale of 0 to 10. The rating is done taking into account documentation, materials, workmanship & supervision at site by conducting prudent on-site inspections coupled with in-house developed technology. The inspections are done by method of sampling covering all the activities at the project.

CQRA uses its own proprietary software ‘Benchmark’ for rating the quality of work at the project based on ratio of conformities and non-conformities observed during the inspections.

The rating is further converted into quality grading given below.

• 9 to 10 = Excellent
• 8 to 9 = Very Good
• 7 to 8 = Good

The above gradings are established based on more than 10000 inspections done by CQRA across India.
We provide Quality Conformance certificate every 6 months based on the above inspections. Our Quality Indexing/grading is validated by construction behemoths of the industries, and it is effectively used as a tool to evaluate the performance of project team and overall construction quality of the project.

Terms and Conditions

The quality conformance certificate is issued based on inspections carried out at site during the period of certification. The inspections are carried out on a random sample basis. The quality of construction is assessed based on physical inspections, witness of field tests, documentary evidence of third-party tests and manufacturers test certificates provided by the client. It is representative of overall quality control practices exercised by the client at the project. CQRA uses its own proprietary software for grading the quality of work at the project based on ratio of conformities and non conformities observed during the inspections.

It does not cover statutory compliances, contractual obligations of client and validity of designs. This certificate is valid only for the period mentioned in the certificate.
