CQRA has devised a unique Quality Rating Mechanism where construction quality is indexed on a scale of 0 to 10. The rating is done taking into account documentation, materials, workmanship & supervision at site. The inspections are done by method of sampling covering all the activities at the project. CQRA uses its own proprietary software ‘Benchmark’ for rating the quality of work at the project based on ratio of conformities and non-conformities observed during the inspections.
Based on more than 10000 inspections carried across India, the rating is further converted into quality grading.
Project is rated after the project completes 4 cycles of audit and achieves a aggregate quality rating of 7 and above as follows
The Quality Rating is issued based on inspections carried out at site during the period of certification by method of random sampling . The quality of construction is assessed based on physical inspections, witness of field tests, documentary evidence of third-party tests and manufacturers test certificates provided by the client. It is representative of overall quality control practices exercised by the client at the project. It does not signify a zero defect construction.
Rating methodology does not cover statutory compliances, contractual obligations of client and validity of designs. The rating is valid only for the period mentioned in the certificate. No third party liability is undertaken by CQRA for the ratings provided.
